At Just Like Home we offer "home-style" dog boarding. Our unique service provides your dog with a busy, fun-filled vacation while you go on yours! We have been in business since 2004 and offer professional, courteous service.
Conveniently located on Sandfort Road, just a few miles from Hwy 80 and Hwy 431 in rural Alabama, we are just a quick drive west of Phenix City, AL / Columbus, GA.
We offer large play-yards for our guests, with plenty of daily playtime to keep even the most active dog busy and happy while they are here! We are happy to accommodate special needs and geriatric dogs. If your dog requires daily medication or special care, we will gladly ensure he gets it - and there's no extra charge!

Play Groups (groups of 5 to 6 compatible dogs) so your dog doesn't spend his holiday in solitary confinement.

Extended care hours - because the "kennel" is our home, we are generally here with your dog during the evenings, weekends, holidays and middle of the night - times when traditional kennels may be closed.

Sunday and evening hours (by appointment) so you can drop off or pick up your dog at your convenience.

Long-term boarding (monthly and longer).
All Breeds are Welcome!
Because of the unique nature of our business, we cannot board aggressive dogs, unneutered males, or females in heat. Also, if your dog is a known fence jumper/climber, this may not be the right environment for him/her.
